Project ENGAGES

Project ENGAGES connects Atlanta high school students with hands-on research at Georgia Tech, offering tracks in biotechnology and engineering. The program builds STEM skills, prepares students for college, and inspires future careers in science and technology.

Program Overview

Project ENGAGES (Engaging New Generations at Georgia Tech through Engineering & Science) is a high school program that partners with eight Atlanta public schools to provide hands-on research experiences in biotechnology and engineering. Established with support from the National Science Foundation and Georgia Tech’s research centers, the program connects students with real-world STEM opportunities.

Through immersive projects led by Georgia Tech scientists, ENGAGES raises awareness of careers in science and engineering, strengthens classroom learning, and offers teacher training to enhance STEM education. By inspiring students to pursue high achievement in STEM fields, the program helps build the next generation of innovators and a strong, creative workforce.
